Born in 1981 in the Zulu Kingdom of South Africa – KwaZulu Natal, Schooled in the Province where the Sun Rises – Mpumalanga and then obtained a National Diploma (Business & Marketing Communications) from the City of Gold – Gauteng .. this is Andries Du Preez a proud ambassador, entertainer and entrepreneur from the beautiful rainbow Nation of sunny South Africa.
Marking more than 25 years in the Pageant, Performing industry. His vivacity and drive have always been apparent, winning him accolades from childhood through to adulthood being an International Award winner, has a passion for Musical Theatrical Broadway and published his first photobook and motivational diary in 2022.
As Choreographer and Professional Tap Dancer landing / playing lead parts / roles in Musical Broadways like Burlesque to Moulin Rouge , Baz Luhrmannโs The Great Gatsby, Highschool Musical, The Song and Andrew Lloyd Webbers musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat to more present portraying the role of Herr Drosselmeyer in the Nutcracker and the phenomenon โMurder Mystery (A Dinner to Die for)โ, Frank-n-Furter in the Rocky Horror Picture Show and the โNarratorโ in the Christmas Carol the story of Christmas.
A Humanitarian of note, Andries is no stranger when it comes to charity involvement and enjoys making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate or in need.
Andries is proud to host the yearly Teddy Bear Tea Party for the past 14 successful years in support to National Charitable Organisations.

2022 / 2023 was a highlight for me as I had the opportunity to represent the MMI (Magnificent Men Icons) brand as the elected Mr MMI International that brought me many โstanding ovationโ moments, never in my wildest dreams did I ever think of entering and winning an international title after bowing out from self-competing pageantry.
